VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS FOR
LONDON MCM COMIC CON
I was approached by the ReedPOP Team to work on unique designs for one of the largest pop culture convention in the UK. My illustrations featured on the show’s official printed and digital materials: print guidebook, map, mobile app and visitor badges. For two years I designed materials for three comic cons, each with its own distinctive theme and personality. It gave me a great opportunity for designing playful characters and hiding pop culture references for fans to spot!
OCTOBER 2025 THEME:
CUTE & SPOOKY
For the autumn London MCM show I designed a series of Halloween-themed visual assets, which were displayed across the ExCel , as well as MCM social media and mobile app.
The 9 unique spooky characters appeared on the visitor badges, VIP enamel pins and the comic con printed guidebook and map.
The map design combined stylised visuals with clear communication of the complex layout in ExCel exhibition centre, with all the main areas illustrated according to the theme and selected colour palette to represent the show in an engaging and memorable way.
The MCM London mobile app featured my visuals in their Fan Hub, with themed banners displayed throughout the software and a special personality quiz game utilising the spooky characters I designed for the show.

MAY 2025 THEME:
SUMMER FESTIVAL
For the spring London MCM show I worked with a bright summer festival theme and designed visuals, which were displayed across the ExCel venue , as well as MCM social media and mobile app.
The official MCM mobile app featured Fan Hub games with the themed personality quiz: Which type of Comic Con visitor are you?
My festival characters were designed with these fun personality types in mind.

ADVENTURING PARTY
My first collaboration with London MCM was designing their first illustrated show map. We picked a theme of RPG-inspired adventuring as a nod to all the pop culture fandoms taking part in the event.
